Caitlin Parks

Caitlin Parks is a London-based illustrator and printmaker, specialising in silk screen print. She is the co-founder of Underway Studio - a print studio and collective based in Brixton, South London where she works.Her work is inspired by nature, travel, architecture and narrative. Using drawing, photography and collage she creates vivid, atmospheric screen prints that explore the world around us. Caitlin is drawn to the physical and tactile aspect of printmaking as a means to create imagery. Experimenting with different textures and colours is an important part of her aesthetic and her work is driven by the endless possibilities and mishaps of silk screen as a process.
