Ken McClymont was born in Glasgow. After receiving an Elizabeth Greenshields Award for figuration in 1981, he has since continued to paint and exhibit when and wherever possible (he most recently exhibited at a Solo Show at Espace Culturel, Leclerc, Gap 05000 France). Other recent exhibitions include: Office de Tourisme, Forcalquier, France 2017 (Solo show), Rond Point!, Marie deVille, Gap, France 2017 (Solo show), Jaune d’Or, l’Abattoir, Embrun, France 2017 (selected Group show), Salon des Arts de la Ville d’Embrun, France 2017 (selected Group show), Rozel, Valaurie, France 2016, ArtHouse - Richmond Council Art Weeks 2016, Art Maze, Bargehouse, Oxo Tower, Southbank, London Dec. 2015. He is also an established Theatre Director and designer working mostly with living writers on the London Fringe Theatre circuit. Since 2016, he lives in Hautes Alpes, France.
