About

Pauline Maddocks

Hertfordshire based artist Pauline Maddocks gained a BA Hons in Fashion and Textile Design from St Martin’s London. Upon moving to the Chiltern Hills, an area of outstanding natural beauty, she has been involved in working with the Woodland Trust and Greenpeace regarding climate change and pollution. She has rekindled her love of painting and paints the natural world in an abstracted manner, the narrative of her work addressing damage to flora worldwide.

She has exhibited and sold at several contemporary art fairs and galleries in London and the midlands. These include The Broadway Gallery Letchworth, The Boomer Gallery in London, The Bobcat Gallery in Putney and The Berkhamsted Art Society in Hertfordshire plus exhibitions in her studio.

The narrative of my work addresses the pollution of eco systems around the world causing untold devastation to flora and fauna alongside the effects of global warming.
