Kate Zamet

Administrator

Across a career working largely in the Visual Arts and more recently in Property Management, Kate has all the strategic planning and management skills to keep the many moving parts of Art in Offices running smoothly. She loves hip-hop dance but we have yet to convince her to show us her best moves!

Art is not an option, it is essential. It can change the way we understand our world and each other.

My Inspirations

László Moholy-Nagy - A 19 1927

My all-time favourite painting - I even have it printed on a mug. For me it encapsulates everything that art can provide: perfect balance and perfect serenity.

Louise Bourgeois’ List of Wants from her diary, 1962

Intimate, insightful and wise words from Queen Louise Bourgeois and a list (which appeals to the Administrator in me!).

Anthony McCall - Solid Light at Tate Modern.

Part immersive experience, part geometry in motion, you can literally step inside Anthony McCall’s stunning light installations.

Yoshitomo Nara

Nothing says pure wilfulness and girl power like this painting by Yoshitomo Nara. I’m excited to see the exhibition at the Hayward Gallery this summer.

Martin Creed

Martin Creed’s piece Everything Is Going To Be Alright is currently showing at brand-new North London Art Apace, Camden Arts Projects.  A little reassurance (and fun) from Martin Creed goes a log way.

Yves Klein at Blenheim Palace, 2018

At its very best art has the power to completely transform space and make you look at things from an entirely fresh perspective. The Yves Klein takeover installation at Blenheim Palace in 2018 definitely caused controversy – but to me it was pure magic.
