I feel truly lucky to have been starting my art journey at the time of the YBA's, Britpop, the launch of the Tate Modern and the Saatchi Gallery. The excitement of art 25 years ago was palpable. People were experimental, political, brave, and took on sex politics and gender politics.

Maman by Louise Bourgeois at Tate Modern was the first time I saw anything on this scale. A towering marvel and my first monumental sculpture! It has stuck with me and inspired me, and maybe even imprinted on me as an impressionable teenager.

I've admired Olly Fathers' creations for ages. We met when he was an art tech, just starting his own work. His intricate marquetry, even from scraps, exudes poetic elegance. His natural grasp of geometry, color, and proportion is impressive. Someday, I'll own one.

My Art School, Central Saint Martins. It was my Alma Mater. The place where i ate weird sandwiches in a cafe that used to be a corridor. Where I cut out parts of the wall to stick my head through as artwork. The building that was falling apart, and only one plug in 4 worked (different times).

I've recently started collaborating with Diana Taylor, and it was love at first sight with her art. Her unique blend of large-scale works, collage, mixed media, and the fusion of realistic prints with pixelated designs is simply enchanting. You know that indescribable "x factor" vibe? Her work has it.

Mark Beattie's mesmerising copper spirals have enchanted me since I started working with him over a decade ago. His innovative and brilliant artistry showcases the true essence of creativity and craftsmanship. From intricate spiral designs to awe-inspiring sculptures, Beattie continues to push the boundaries of craft.
