My Inspirations

The Kiss by Gustav Klimt (1907–08)

This painting reminds me of the power of intimacy and human connection. The gold tones feel timeless, and it inspires me to embrace beauty, detail, and vulnerability in both life and work.

Untitled (Skull) by Jean-Michel Basquiat (1981)

Basquiat’s raw energy and refusal to conform remind me to be bold and unapologetically creative. His layers of meaning and emotion reflect how messy and brilliant the creative process can be.

Composition VIII by Wassily Kandinsky (1923)

This piece makes me think about harmony in chaos and reminds me that structure can be found even in spontaneity.

Girl with Balloon by Banksy (2002)

It’s simple but deeply emotional.  It pushes me to stay grounded in purpose and always remember why I do what I do.

No Woman, No Cry by Chris Ofili (1998)

This piece honours strength and grief, especially in women. Ofili’s use of mixed media, even glitter and resin, inspires me to think outside the box and bring soul into what I create.

Water Lilies” by Claude Monet

This series reminds me to slow down and observe beauty in stillness. It inspires a sense of peace and presence, which I need when life and work get overwhelming.
