Historic touches

Our Clients

Plaid Amsterdam

After the success of the London Office, Plaid asked us to curate their Dutch office with a similar vibe. The brief for this office was to reflect the cool, arty, hip and forward thinking Dutch city, whilst also referencing its amazing art history.

Incorporating Dutch elements

The city of Amsterdam itself is home to the Rijksmuseum and some incredible art has come out of the country over the centuries, which the client wanted to highlight. Our curation started with the same ‘urban pastels’ base, but was tailored to include more Dutch elements, like Rosha Nutt’s work, which uses still life paintings from the Dutch Golden Age as her primary reference.

Prioritising local engagement

Where we could we used local artists, local shipping companies and local art technicians, so that the project felt local and personal to the staff who worked in Amsterdam.

We love the historical dutch art elements you’ve added, it feels very ‘us’.
