Art in Offices are recruiting for three roles, listed below through the Kickstart scheme which aims to put 16 - 24 year olds into employment. We prefer to hear from candidates based in or near London but these roles can be done remotley too. We want to meet you in person in London whilst you work for us.
Hours: 25 hours a week (flexible working as standard)
Salary: National Minimum Wage
For all roles you should have some knowledge of the art world/artists/galleries/museums or show serious enthusiasm for the arts through hobbies and voluntering you have done.
Sales and Business Development Assistant
Art in Offices are recruiting for a Sales and Business Development intern to help spread the message of what they do. You will be researching organizations and individuals and identify sales leads and opportunities. You will assist with preparing pitches and making presentations of the services Art in Offices offer to new clients. You will be following up with old clients and new, plus you will be asked to think of innovative ways to market the company to our ideal clients, such as pop ups, events, workshops, artist talks etc.
You will need to have excellent written English, be a natural at sales (or have a salesy personality), be able to work to sales targets, think creatively and outside of the box, have a great phone manner for chatting to potential clients. You should be an innovator and you need to be able to work remotely most of the time.
The role of the content creator is to utilise the existing assets of Art in Offices, and create new assets such as videos, blogs and interviews, to be used across our social media platforms.
Art in Offices relies on visual content to tell the story of what we do to our existing clients and new prospective clients. We already have a lot pf assets such as photographs from installations which are available to be used and re-used, but the content creator will be responsible for making new content in collaboration with our artists and clients, to post on social media. We are looking for someone who is a natural creative thinker. Someone who can get to know our audiences, and which content is suitable for each of our channels. The candidate will also need to get to know our key demographics and target audiences, and create content according to what these “customer personalities” will want to see. The suitable candidate will also be an enthusiastic and energetic individual with a friendly and approachable personality. You can’t be afraid of picking up the phone to our clients and artists and asking for favours!
The candidate will work hand in hand with the Social Media Manager to plan and execute a content calendar, plus plan collaborations with our partner organisations. You’ll need to be able to travel around the city easily visiting artists in their studios and visiting our clients too.
You should be able to get on with everyone, be used to editing videos either on your phone or on computer software, have some experience of posting to Tik Tok and instagram reels (even if that's your personal accounts) and be able to plan and execute ideas.
Press and Marketing Assistant
The Press and Marketing assistant will be responsible for creating press releases and sending them out to relevant press and publications to spread the word about ARt in Offices. We're also looking for a creative thinker who is a brand ambassador and a natural advocate of the brand. you will be telling our story and finding opportunities ot get us in the media. You will have the opportunity to be creative in creating marketing material, but a lot of the role is about connecting with people and following up with them to get us in the news or on their blogs and newsletters.
You will also be responsible for the newsletters that go out to our clients and you will be asked to think of innovative ways to market the company to our ideal clients, such as pop ups, events, workshops, artist talks etc.

The whole team will support you in finding your feet and finding your way around this new role. You’ll have regular contact with all of us and individual 1-2-1’s to support your progress and address your needs for development (in terms of knowledge and skills).
We’ll also be working from a co working space together as a team on a regular basis, so you’ll get to know us and feel part of a team.
Working for Art in Offices is fully flexible, so you can work around life and children and family commitments etc. We just ask you to meet deadlines and provide high quality work. How you achieve that is up to you.
