Katie's opinion

Frederick's paintings are so tactile, so visceral, so textural. The way he put the paints on creates so many different dimensions to his work. It brings out depth and form and although they are abstract peices there's something in the textures that seems familiar. Some look like water, some like oil, others are more like fish scales or snake skin.
